Information that we collect from you and your use of this website

When you visit our website, we collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. This will include, for example, pages viewed, referring websites, software used, date and time pages were visited. This is to help us analyse visitor behaviour patterns and track visitor numbers so that we can monitor how our website is used and how we can improve it. We collect this information in a way that does not personally identify you.

If we do want to collect personally identifiable information through our website, we will make this clear and explain what we intend to do with it. We will ask you to provide consent for us to process that data for the purpose described. This applies to your name, contact details and other personal information. Where IP addresses are logged, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing a website that functions effectively for all users.

In general, any information you provide to Norland will be used within Norland and by its service providers. It will never be supplied to anyone outside Norland without first obtaining your consent unless we are obliged or permitted by law to disclose it. We do work with a number of third parties who act as service providers and data processors on our behalf. These are bound by contracts to process personal data securely. Submitting personal data via an online form hosted by one of these may result in data being processed outside the EEA and cookies being set by that party.

You have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes. We will inform you (before collecting your data) if we intend to use your data for such purposes. You can exercise your right to prevent such processing by checking certain boxes on the forms we use to collect your data.
